- { the card then the ZIP should have the termination switch turned on and the

- Yes and no; My ZIP does have the termination switch turned on
- (system won't boot otherwise, of course), but the packs are taken
- out of my Quantum because it is the only internal device *and* it is
- attached via the 3cm internal cable. That is the only exception to
- the SCSI rule (it's not some strange GVP thing). Booting my system
- with the packs in the drive results in a hung system w/ black
- screen.

- Normally, however, you are correct - each end should be terminated -
- if the internal cable is longer than 3cm and/or you have more than
